CASE STUDY: Moblees

Moblee Medals

Challenge:

Create an iPad application where kids ages 2-5, with the assistance of an adult, can earn and claim medals based on accomplishing movement activities they learned by watching the television show TheMoblees.

Solution:

Children can earn medals, and points, by watching the television show on the App or by receiving a claim code that can then be redeemed on the App. When you join the Moblee Medals you are taken to your dashboard where you see the Move-o-Meter, a Medals Showcase and the full Medals Library.

The Move-o-Meter shows the points you are earning in a fun, colorful and encouraging way. Each medal is associated with a point value. As children claim medals the Move-o-Meter fills with color until they earn a prize.

The Medals Showcase allows users to swipe through all the Medals available. This is a fun way to see all the different medals while getting a large view of what you have and have not earned. All earned medals show a large filled in green check mark. Those they have not yet earned will show a transparent check mark with a dotted border. Users are then prompted to earn that medal.

The Medal Library shows all the medals available. Here users will see a small checkmark below any medal they have earned. Medals in the Library can be tapped to take users to that medal detail page. Here they can learn more about the medal, earn it, or watch the video again.
